The Stencil Laser G 6060, a fully enclosed laser cutting system for the production of SMT stencils, employs a gantry architecture that contributes to a small footprint and lightweight construction. Suitable for any environment, the system delivers performance speeds up to 17,400 apertures per hour, reportedly three times faster than legacy stencil cutting systems. It automatically adjusts to fit any stencil frame size up to 740 mm x 950 mm and provides a maximum cutting area of 600 mm x 600 mm. A unique loading routine promises to reduce downtime time when switching between loose foils and framed stencils. With a Class I laser safety rating, the system can cut with either compressed air or oxygen and provides a touch screen with a multi-level user interface.
