Economy Power Connector Line Expands

Enlarging the company’s Economy Power (EP) line of power connectors are fully-shrouded post headers, available in two through 12 positions. Targeting secondary-power-circuit applications, the through-hole headers have a current-carrying capacity of 7.5A maximum per contact. Reducing the chance of mismating, the full four-sided shrouding aids proper alignment during engagement of the plug connector. The recent additions are compatible with existing EP connectors and contacts are on a 3.96-mm pitch. Other features include 94V-0-rated nylon housings and tin-plated brass contacts.
