Dubbed the EXPlora series, the company’s latest range of connectors are suitable for use in hazardous environments. Independently tested for compliance to ATEX standards for use in Zone 2 and Zone 22 environments, the connectors employ a high-grade UL94V-0 rated Polycarbonate material and are similar in construction to the 900 Series connectors, which are sealed to IP68. Operating temperature ranges from –20°C to +55°C. The connectors are available in two-, three-, four-, five-, seven-, and 10-pole versions and in four body styles: cable, in-line cable, panel, and flange fixing. They are rated up to 18A, 600 Vac/dc for two, three, four, and five poles, 16A, 430Vac/dc for seven poles, and 10A, 250Vac/dc for 10 poles.
