The SG-BGA-6292 universal BGA socket accommodates 0.8-mm pitch DDR2 and DDR3 packages with IC size variations ranging from 7.5 mm to 15.5 mm. The socket operates at bandwidths up to 8 GHz with less than 1 dB of insertion loss. Contact resistance is typically 20 m? per pin and the socket connects all pins with 8 GHz bandwidth on all connections. Other features include an operating temperature range from -35°C to +100°C, a pin self inductance of 0.11 nH, mutual inductance of 0.028 nH, capacitance to ground of 0.028 pF, and a current rating of 2A per pin.
