The 5008 series ac-power entry module combines an IEC C8 appliance inlet and line filter for use in Class II information technology, medical, and entertainment appliances. Rated up to 6A/250 Vac, the component integrates an EMI filter at the point of power entry. The component is ENEC approved up to 2.5A at 250 Vac according to IEC/EN 60320-1 and complies with IEC/EN standards for office and medical equipment, 60950 and 60601-1, respectively. Filter ratings range from 0.5A to 6A. Mounting options include screw-on, or snap-in types and solder terminals are available upon request. Pricing is about $3.50 each/500.
