CBT-QFN-7002 socket supports 7 mm x 7 mm QFN devices with a 0.5 mm pitch, 48 positions, and a center ground pad.

For testing NXP Semiconductor’s SC16C852V universal asynchronous receiver and HVQFN48 transmitter operating at rates up to 5 Mb/s at 1.8V, the CBT-QFN-7002 socket supports 7 mm x 7 mm QFN devices with a 0.5 mm pitch, 48 positions, and a center ground pad. The contactor is a stamped spring pin with a 26g actuation force per ball and a cycle life of 500,000 insertions. Other features include a self inductance of 0.88 nH, insertion loss less than 1 dB at 15.7 GHz, capacitance of 0.097 pF, current capacity of 4A/contactor at an +80°C temperature rise, low-profile snap lid, and a wave spring with swivel compression plate.
