Programmable Fieldbus Controller Handles 1K Instructions

Nov. 24, 2010
The 750-881 ETHERNET 2.0 programmable fieldbus controller processes 1,000 instructions in 235 µs and its independent Ethernet ports respond in 1 ms.

The 750-881 ETHERNET 2.0 programmable fieldbus controller processes 1,000 instructions in 235 μs and its independent Ethernet ports respond in 1 ms. Interfacing with standard network protocols including EtherNet I/P and MODBUS TCP, a DIP switch configures the last octet of IP address/assignment. Other features include a 32-bit CPU, 1 MB of program memory, a 2 MB fast-file system supervising both a web-based management system and data logging, e-mail capability, a standard CoDeSys V2 programming environment that is IEC 61131 compatible, and support for up to 250 I/O modules.
