Circular Connectors Defeat EMI In Handhelds

Outfitting handheld products, the Nemesis Series miniature circular connectors provide full 360° degree EMI shielding and are sealed to IP67/IP68 specs. The connectors feature ITT’s pogo pin/pad and breakaway technologies to increase the number of mating cycles. The components rely on a ripaway decoupling action and a patented draw-back barrel design, which allows fast cleaning and reconnection. Other features include an enhanced strain relief design, more than 10,000 mating cycles, blind mating for connection without the need for visual or mechanical keying, and anti-reflective, salt-spray resistant plating on the connector shells.
