Addressing requirements for testing digital camera processors, the CBT-BGA-7005 socket operates in temperatures from -55 degrees C to +180 degrees C and its contactor is a stamped spring pin with 26g actuation force per ball and a cycle life of 500,000 insertions.

Addressing requirements for testing digital camera processors, the CBT-BGA-7005 socket operates in temperatures from -55°C to +180°C and its contactor is a stamped spring pin with 26g actuation force per ball and a cycle life of 500,000 insertions. Self inductance of the contactor is 0.88 nH, insertion loss is less than 1 dB at 15.7 GHz, and capacitance is 0.097 pF. Current capacity of each contactor is 4A at 80°C temperature rise. The socket also features a floating guide for precise ball to pin alignment. Pricing for the CBT-BGA-7005 is $931 each. IRONWOOD ELECTRONICS, Burnsville, MN. (800) 404-0204.
