Expanding the company’s solderless LED socket line, the Type BR terminates Bridgelux RS LEDs and eliminates the need to design, make, and integrate a metal clad PCB into a lighting fixture. Installable anywhere in a fixture using basic hand tools, the one-piece connector assembly features the company’s poke-in wire termination method for 18 through 22 AWG solid wires, 18 through 20 AWG pre-bonded wires, and 18 AWG stranded wires. Standoff posts properly position the socket assembly onto a heat sink and only four M3 or #4 screws are necessary to secure the assembly. TE CONNECTIVITY, Harrisburg, PA. (800) 522-6752.
