The halogen-free cables feature a flexible, one-piece silicone encapsulation that will not delaminate or degrade due to extreme vibration or exposure to steam, water, chemicals, mechanical abuse, ozone, and radiation (107 Roentgens).  A proprietary extrusion process allows four individually shielded 30 AWG pairs to be placed in a flat cable.
