For testing ASE's 32 lead QFNs, the CBT-QFN-7008 socket employs a contactor consisting of an etched spring pin with a 34g actuation force per ball and cycle life of 500,000 insertions. Self inductance of the contactor is 0.95 nH, insertion loss is less than 1 dB at 7 GHz, and capacitance is 0.097 pF. The current capacity of each contactor is 4.1A at +60°C temperature rise. Socket temperature range is -55°C to +155°C. The socket also features a low profile double latch snap lid and a wave spring with swivel compression plate. Pricing for the CBT-QFN-7008 is $564 each.
