The Nemesis Series Space Saver connector embarks as a rugged, lightweight, no-profile interconnect system for wearable and portable military equipment used in modern warfare. A first of its kind, the connector employs canted spring technology to provide blind mating and quick snap-on/rip-away coupling to prevent personnel endangerment should a cable snag. Other features include the use of ribbed over-molding for secure grip under difficult conditions, salt-spray resistant plating that is guaranteed for 500 hours, a maximum current rating of 2A, voltage rating of 50 Vdc, and a minimum insulation resistance of 5,000 MΩ.
