Connector Family Variant Provides Mixed-Density Contacts

Positronic's addition to their PCS series of connectors is the mixed-density contact variant. This offering combines size-8 power contacts and size-20 signal/power contacts in a single housing. These connectors support voltages up to 300 Vac. The size-8 power contacts have a resistance as low as 0.0003 Ω and can carry up to 85 A.

Features include high current density, crimp-contact and pc-board-mount terminations, an integral locking system and blind-mate capability. Price for a mated pair of connectors with two size-8 and eight signal contacts is $7.00 for 1000 pieces.
