Electronics Concept’s 5MPF Series polypropylene film capacitor uses Fuseac technology, which provides an internal fuse that electrically disconnects when the capacitor's hot spot reaches a defined temperature, without deforming the case. Specifically designed for ac applications, the series supports voltages of 300 Vac, 600 Vac and 900 Vac. The capacitance range is from 10 µF to 250 µF.

The capacitor is housed in an aluminum cylindrical can with a plastic header. It also features radial terminals and a mounting bolt to meet power-management-system requirements. Operating temperatures span from -40°C to +85°C.
