Magnetics Company Expands Engineering and Customer Support

Magnetics specialist RAFTabtronics has grown its customer support and engineering teams with the addition of two individuals

Magnetics specialist RAFTabtronics has grown its customer support and engineering teams with the addition of two individuals. The company has appointed Robert K. Sollien as the customer support manager for its Florida operations and Oleg Kolomiyets as the principle design engineer.

Sollien has 32 years in sales and customer support with experience that includes regional and national sales and sales management for top ranked heavy equipment and electronics firms. He holds a BA in Communications from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

Sollien will be leading RAF Tabtronics' customer support and sales functions for the DeLand, Fla. facility. He reports to James Tabbi, president/COO and can be reached at [email protected] or 386-736-1698 x316.

Kolomiyets has 27 years experience in magnetics design and engineering. He has been responsible for the design and development of power, pulse, audio, ultrasonic, servo and switching transformers, inductors, filter reactors, and charging reactors per MIL and UL specifications for defense, NASA, and major high-tech firms. Kolomiyets holds an MS and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Leningrad State College/Institute of Aviation.
