High Power Precision Current Sensing

The CSS4527 from Stackpole is a 5 watt surface mount current sense resistor capable of handling up to 100 amps of continuous current. This part offers tolerances down to 0.5% and TCR of 50 ppm making it ideal for precision power sensing and control. Further, the CSS series can operate at full rated power up to 100 °C and can operate safely up to 225°C.

The CSS4527 is also AEC-Q200 qualified making it useful for a wide variety of even the most demanding applications including high power monitoring and control, motor controls, portable electric power tools, test equipment, medical monitoring and diagnostic equipment, network communications equipment, and instrumentation.
