Designed for attenuating EMI and other unwanted signals in a circuit without contributing to power losses at lower frequencies or dc, the firm has introduced four new chokes in the SPG series of Wide Band Shield Bead Ferrite Chokes. Impedances from 10 ohms to 600 ohms are available over frequencies ranging from 1.0 MHz to 500 MHz. Currents are limited by the #22 AWG or #24 AWG tinned copper wire used in construction.
While the body of the coils are 0.235" in diameter by 0.400" long, each choke has leads extending axially about 1.0" from each end. Pricing for the chokes is as low as $0.19 each in production quantities.
