A new international printed circuit power transformer has been designed with the same pin-out pattern and phasing as its domestic counterpart. The SPW-3500 series transformer has dual winding primaries and secondaries, with input voltages of 115V and 230V and output voltages ranging from 5.0 to 120 Vac at 6.0 VA. The UL94V0 split-section bobbin and shroud assembly meets strict creepage and clearance minimums found in Europe and other world markets. Safety agency testing to UL1585 Class 2 and 3, UL60950, and EN60950 standards is in progress. Hipot rating from primaries to secondaries is 4,500 VRMS. The SPW-3500 series incorporates independently-isolated winding, lead breakout isolation tapes, and epoxy resin impregnation. Measurements are 41.28 x 35.56 x 39.37 mm. Pricing starts at $3.34 each in production quantities. PREM MAGNETICS INC., McHenry, IL. (815) 385-2700.
