The CB series of Capstick capacitors are now fabricated with the latest low-shrinkage PET films to provide increased thermal withstanding during reflow soldering. This plastic film technology reduces the tendency of the film to expand and lose capacitance during pre-heat and reflow processing cycles. The series has been expanded from 2 µF to 10 µF at 100V. The flame-retardant shell meets telecomm needle flame test requirements, while the lead frame allows excellent soldering qualities, it is claimed. Pricing for CB series Capstick caps starts at $1.49 each in volume quantities.
