Measuring only 3.05 x 3.05 x 0.89 mm, reportedly the smallest Femto balun (FB) transformer available today. Taking a place in the Xinger product line, the tiny transformers are suitable for use with next-generation 802.11 and Bluetooth designs. The FB650 handles narrowband frequencies from 2.4 to 2.5 GHz, while the FB850 addresses a narrowband from 5.15 to 5.35 GHz and broadband from 4.8 to 5.8 GHz. Both components exhibit a balanced port impedance of 100 ohms and a power rating of 4W. Other common features include an insertion loss of 0.5 dB, return loss of 17 dB, a maximum amplitude balance of 0 dB ±0.5 dB, and a maximum phase balance of 180° ±5°. ANAREN, INC., East Syracuse, NY.
