A new jumper with extremely low resistance has been developed for power supply designers who require a low-profile surface mount alternative to bulky through-hole designs. These jumper resistors feature inductance ratings less than 0.2 nH and are said to be ideally suited for crossovers in high-current applications up to 35A. Constructed of copper on alumina, the jumper resistor is available in 1206, 2010 and 2512 chip sizes and is compatible with high-speed surface mount placement equipment. Typical applications for the jumpers are power supply circuits and dc/dc converters. Pricing is $.10 each/100,000 with lead times from stock to six weeks. INTERNATIONAL RESISTIVE COMPANY INC.
