The filtering out of high-frequency EMI noise in sensitive circuits is the forte of four new off-line, through-hole and three surface-mount common mode filter inductors. The off-line inductors reduce noise on the primary side of the circuit and provide enough spacing for 3 mm of creepage and clearance. They promise maximum inductance and minimum capacitance. The surface-mount inductors are designed for the lower-voltage secondary side of the circuit and can operate at temperatures up to 160¡C. They measure under 3 mm or 6 mm and are available on tape-and-reels for pick-and-place assembly. For more information and prices, contact COOPER ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES, Boynton Beach, FL.
