The company's new series 10/100, dual-port LAN modules support Internet Protocol (IP) telephony and are capable of feeding up to 350 ma into standard LAN cables. According to the company, both modules in the series, the H2005A and H2006A, deliver sufficient power to drive many applications, such as IP phones, remote sensors, building thermostats, and WLAN access points. Designed for switch applications, the H2005A also provides EMI suppression. The more compact H2006A module is for space-restrictive applications, such as IP phones.
Both modules are IEEE 802.3 compliant and are housed in an IC-grade, transfer-molded package, suitable for convection and infrared reflow soldering at temperatures up to 235°C. They are available in tube or tape-and-reel packaging. The H2005A costs $3.10 and the H2006A is $2.90, each/10,000.
