Providing higher power ratings while maintaining traditional body sizes, the WWS Series wirewound resistors rely on special processes, materials, and, in some cases, stabilization to achieve power ratings that are one or two sizes higher than the typical power ratings. This allows users to trim down designs without sacrificing power handling capability. The WWS versions of the WW Series offer the same wide resistance value range and retains its ability to provide precision down to 0.1% tolerances. Pricing varies widely from $0.22 to $1.50 each in minimum quantities depending on size, tolerance, and resistance. STACKPOLE ELECTRONICS INC., Raleigh, NC. (888) 734-7347.
