Operating at temperatures up to 175°C, the THD Series of high-temperature, wet tantalum capacitors offers a higher C/V rating per case size compared to standard CLR81 series capacitors. Providing low DCL, low ESR, high ripple current ratings and long active shelf lives, these ruggedly built capacitors are also said to be extremely stable in hostile environments. Applications include missiles, weapons, space equipment, and anywhere else where compact, highly reliable capacitors are needed. The series is available in T1, T2, T3 and T4 case sizes ranging from 0.188" x 0.453" to 0.375" x 1.062" with Mylar or Kapton insulating sleeve. Capacitance values are 10 to 1400 µF with standard tolerance of ±20%. Working voltage range is 25 to 125 vdc at 85°C and 15 to 85 vdc at 175°C.
