A newly developed, zirconate-based ceramic material and the firm’s Fine Multilayer Technology are combined in its COG high-capacitance, Ni-type electrode multilayer ceramic chip capacitors. The devices are said to provide increased capacitance through the use of thinner dielectric layers and are targeted as replacements for film capacitors.A fine ceramic material with low dielectric constant is combined with nickel internal electrodes for stable characteristics over temperature. The capacitors’ range from 1 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm with values from 100 to 150 pF to 3.2 mm x 1.6 mm x 1.15 mm with values from 3900 to 10,000 pF.
