This is said to render the component impervious to high temperatures, corrosion, and moisture. With a rotation-life expectancy of 25,000 cycles, suitable applications include medical, food processing, automotive, and marine devices. A basic configuration consists of a 10.01-mm cube with gold contacts. A wide variety of bushings, cases and flat or rounded shafts are available.
