Ultra-Small Ceramic Filter Meets GPS Requirements

A new miniature ceramic filter, the Model CEROO32A, is designed for global positioning system (GPS) applications operating in the 1,575 MHz frequency range. The filter, which measures 4 mm x 4 mm x 2 mm, employs the companyÕs patented monoblock design and advanced processing technologies. With very low 1.2 dB insertion loss and high rejection of PCS and cellular band signals at 50 to 60 dB, the device offers handset manufacturers a technology that meets, or exceeds, the industryÕs exacting performance standards in an ultra-small package.
