Promoting ultra stability, the CSS/CSSH Series metal-element current sense chip resistors employ a unique manufacturing processes and resistive alloy to tighten tolerances, reduce TCR, and provide high power ratings. Available in sizes from 1206 to 2728, power ratings range from 0.5W to 4W. The series offers a 3W, 2512 size chip and a 4W resistor in a 2725 or 2728 package depending on resistance value. Reportedly, their all-metal construction eliminates the issue of part or solder joint cracking. Other features include resistance tolerances down to 0.5% and TCR’s down to 15 ppm.
