Sub-Miniature Chip Inductors Offer Tight Tolerances

Oct. 8, 2008
Reporting tight inductance tolerances with highly stable performance at high frequencies, the PM0402T and PM0603T lead-free chip inductors measure 1 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.35 mm and 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm x 0.45 mm, respectively. Their photolithographic design is

Reporting tight inductance tolerances with highly stable performance at high frequencies, the PM0402T and PM0603T lead-free chip inductors measure 1 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.35 mm and 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm x 0.45 mm, respectively. Their photolithographic design is said to be responsible for tolerances of ±2%, ith inductance ranges from 1 µH to 68 µH at 100 MHz. Other features include a Q value up to 17 at 300 MHz, an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, self-resonant frequency up to 6 GHz minimum, and a dc-current range of 70 mA to 800 mA. Prices for the PM0402T and PM0603T are $0.113 and $0.183 each, respectively, in production quantities. J.W. MILLER, Gardena, CA. (310) 515-1720.
