Using a fine copper termination process, the LGA decoupling capacitor builds on technology found in inter-digitated capacitors to reduce internal inductance by 50%. According to the company, its electrode configuration allows for smaller loop areas, resulting in a 2-terminal LGA cap with an inductance of 35 pH. Additionally, the design employs patented technology and a vertical orientation for the internal electrodes, allowing I/O terminals to be located on the bottom. The caps are available in case sizes of 0204 through 1206, with thickness from 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm. Start price is $0.12 each/10,000. AVX CORP., Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 448-9411
