Stability Marks SMT Caps

The new series of SMP surface-mount Y2 capacitors has full safety agency approvals and spans a capacitance range of 1000 to 4700 pF at 250 vac. The capacitors are made of stable, self-healing metallized impregnated paper and exhibit a failure mode tending toward an open circuit, an important consideration for Y2 capacitors. Another feature is flexible electrodes that absorb any thermal expansion stress.
