Offered in a 1225 chip, a package size typically rated at 1 W, the LRF3W chip resistors are claimed to be the industry's smallest 3-W devices. The resistors employ a four-terminal Kelvin connection to achieve resistance values as low as 0.003 ohms, making them suitable for current-sensing applications. Rated for 3W at 70°C, the series features resistance values from 0.003 ohms to 0.1 ohms in tolerances to ±1% and a temperature coefficient of resistance of ±100 ppm/°C. Operational temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. Pricing for the devices is approximately $0.50 each/10,000 with delivery times from stock to 12 weeks.
