Introduced as the company's first venture into the manufacturing of multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) in chip form, these new surface-mount caps include both Class 1 NPO and Class 2 X7R devices and Y5V low- and high-voltage devices. Targeting high-frequency telecommunication, automotive, consumer and data processing applications, the MLCCs are said to deliver high capacitance per unit volume. Voltage ratings range from 10V for the low-voltage components up to 3 kV for the high-voltage models. The capacitors are available either on tape-and-reel or in plastic bags with delivery times running from three to six weeks. Data sheets and design-in support are available.
