Claiming to ease designs that incorporate 266-MHz DDR DRAMs mounted on DIMMs, the DDR110-xxT7 chip-level, 10-resistor termination network saves space by eliminating the need for termination cards. The component works with PC100, PC133, PC1600 and PC2100 DIMMs and serves as a companion device for the Aladdin Pro 5 and AliMAGiK1 chipsets. To accommodate both DDR and ADR DIMMs, each resistor in the network includes a switch. The switches are controlled in unison by the chip's TTL-compatible output-enable signal line. Available in a 24-pin TSSOP with a 0.65-mm pin pitch, price is $0.35 each/500,000. STMICROELECTRONICS, INC., Lexington, MA. (781) 861-2650.
