Designed to protect personal computers and related products, the SurgX surface-mount ESD suppressors are available in single and multi-line array formats in footprints as small as 60 mm x 30 mm. The components activate only when they are subjected to an electrostatic pulse. Said to be virtually invisible to the circuit, the components have a capacitance of 0.25 pF and exhibit a low noise level.
