The new NSPZ series of surface-mount, solid polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors features an ESR and impedance as low as 0.025W with high ripple current ratings up to 2.5 Arms at 105¡C/ 100 kHz. Capacitance values range from 15 mF to 680 mF,

The new NSPZ series of surface-mount, solid polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors features an ESR and impedance as low as 0.025W with high ripple current ratings up to 2.5 Arms at 105¡C/ 100 kHz. Capacitance values range from 15 mF to 680 mF, while voltage ratings range from 4 to 25 Vdc. Capacitance tolerance of ±20% is standard for these products. Case sizes include 6.3 x 6.3 mm, 8 x 7 mm and 10 x 8 mm. The parts are said to be ideally suited for low-voltage, high-current power management applications, including dc/dc converters and switchers. Compatible with reflow soldering processes and supplied in tape-and-reel packaging, the NSPZ series is priced from $0.77 to $1.05 each in production quantities.
