Incorporating a solid functional polymer electrolyte, the PXA series of chip capacitors boasts of an ultra-low ESR, low impedance, and high ripple-current capability. The surface-mount caps are available in capacitances ranging from 33 µF to 1,000 µF and voltages from 2.5 Vdc to 15 Vdc. Leakage current is 0.2 CV maximum after two minutes at 20ûC and operating temperature is from -55ûC to 105ûC. Life expectancy is 2,000 hours at 105ûC. Available in package sizes from 6.3 x 5.7 mm to 10 x 7.7 mm, the polymer electrolyte-type capacitors cost from $0.25 to $0.44 each/50,000. UNITED CHEMI-CON, Rosemont, IL. (847) 696-2000.
