A new ferrite-shielded inductor achieves high power density and low EMI in a small footprint. The CD series inductor has 15 standard inductance values ranging from 1.5 to 330 µH with a current range of 0.61A to 7.03A. With a profile measuring up to 4.0 mm, the CD inductor is useful for computer and portable power devices, LCD panels, DVD players, DC/DC converters, buck, boost, forward and resonant converters, and noise filters and filter chokes.
