Readied for chores both near and far, the SPWC-4500 series chassis-mount transformers are tested by TUV Rheinland and meet a plethora of domestic and international standards. These include UL1585 2 and 3, UL60950, CAN CSA-22.2 No. 60950, EN60950, and UL60601 (medical equipment). All transformers in the series have dual-wound primaries and secondaries and accept input voltages of 115/230 Vac, 50/60 Hz. Output voltages range from 5 to 120 Vac at 6 VA, depending on the transformer. The devices measure 45.72 x 44.2 x 42.29 mm and include a UL 94V0, split-section bobbin and shroud assembly that meets worldwide creepage and clearance-distance requirements. They also have a hipot rating of 4.5 kVRMS. Prices start at $5.09 each in production quantities. For more information, contact PREM MAGNETICS INC., McHenry, IL. (815) 385-2700.
