Noted MLCC Line Adds 0402 Case Size

Expanding to nine members, the CFCAP line of surface-mount, multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) now includes an EIA 0402 case size (1 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm). According to the company, the capacitor is smaller than the smallest available film capacitors (0603), while exhibiting comparable electrical characteristics. Depending on the model, the series offers dc-voltage ratings of 10V, 16V, and 25V in capacitance values ranging from 1,000 pF to 4,700 pF. Operating temperature range is from û55°C to +125°C.
