A new half-wave, center-fed dipole antenna has been designed for applications requiring a compact, low-cost antenna solution. The HW series antenna’s internal counterpoise maximizes performance and eliminates external ground plane dependence. The device attaches by using an FCC-compliant RP-SMA connector, though alternate connectors and custom colors are available for volume OEMs. The antenna is available in standard center frequencies of 868 MHz and 916 MHz and features a useable bandwidth of greater than 25 MHz. Pricing is $4.64 each. ANTENNA FACTOR, Grants Pass, OR. (800) 489-1634.
