The LB3218 series chip inductors combine two 3225-size low dc-resistance (RDC), high-current inductors into a single 3218-size device measuring 3.2 mm x 1.8 mm x 1.8 mm. Designed as drop-in replacements for previous-generation LEMF and LEMC series inductors, the LB3218 components are suitable for use in digital still cameras, camcorders, VCRs, and other mature commodity-type equipment. The series comes in 16 part numbers with resistance ratings from 0.05Ω to 6.5Ω and current ratings from 1A to 60 mA, respectively. A wide range of inductance ratings are available from 1 µH to 330 µH at operating frequencies of 796 kHz to 7.96 MHz. Samples are available at a price of $0.20 each. Production volumes are also available with a delivery time of two weeks ARO. TAIYO YUDEN INC., Schaumburg, IL. (800) 348-2496.
