Inductors Eye High Speed Switch Apps

The Coiltronics HCF1305-R low-voltage inductors target next generation processors, high-current dc/dc converters and multi-phase buck regulators. Exploiting ferrite cores with high dc-bias resistances, they are capable of performing in higher-speed switch mode applications. Maximum operating temperature range is 125°C and inductance values range from 0.47H to 4.7H. Other features include a current range from 36A to 10.4A and a 100-kHz to 1-MHz frequency range. Other applications include PC workstations, routers, servers, telecom soft switches, and base stations. Available on tape and reel, the components are both RoHS and WEEE compliant.
