For high-volume and high-temperature applications, the wirewound CVW and film CVF series commercial-grade, cement-housed, vertical-mount, power resistors feature an extended resistance range and high temperature ratings for operation in harsh environments. The CVW series wirewound resistors offer a resistance range from 0.1Ω to 910Ω, while the CVF series film resistors have a resistance range of 28Ω to 200 kΩ. Standard tolerances for both devices are to ±5% and ±10%, with TCRs of ±400ppm/°C at less than 20Ω and ±350ppm/°C at 20Ω and above. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +275°C. Typical pricing for the CVW and CVF series is $0.085 to $0.17 each/10,000. IRC INC., Boone, NC. (828) 264-8861.
