Metal-Film Resistors Offer Stability And Reliable Pulse Handling

The MLF series surface-mount, metal-film resistors exploit a thin-film nichrome resistive element to lower noise, boost precision, and increase environmental stability. Available in industry standard 0204 (approximately 3.45 mm x 1.35 mm) and 0207

The MLF series surface-mount, metal-film resistors exploit a thin-film nichrome resistive element to lower noise, boost precision, and increase environmental stability. Available in industry standard 0204 (approximately 3.45 mm x 1.35 mm) and 0207 (roughly 5.9 mm x 2.2 mm) packages, standard and high-power versions range in from 0.25W to 1W. Tolerances are as low as 0.1% and TCRs range down to 10 ppm. Typical resistance values span from 10W to 5.1 MW. Pricing, depending on size, tolerance, TCR, and volume, generally ranges from $60/1,000 to $600/1,000. STACKPOLE ELECTRONICS INC., Raleigh, NC. (888) 734-7347.
