Sporting sub-miniature case sizes, the company's latest thin-film, low-pass filters are available on 99% alumina substrate and 50-Ω terminations for either solder or epoxy mounting. Features include passband cutoffs at 5.5 GHz, 7 GHz, and 8 GHz, a maximum rejection of greater than 16 dB, and VSWR characteristics of less than 1.4:1 with an insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB. The filters promise to eliminate the need for multiple components and are available in several standard designs and custom cut-off frequencies including high-reliability screening. Pricing is under $1.90 each in production quantities. For more details, contact Bernie Hoy at STATE OF THE ART INC., State College, PA. (800) 458-3401.
