The ZVY and AVY series multilayer, low-voltage and automotive varistors are now available with operating temperatures up to 150°C, stated as the highest in the industry. Available in surface-mount or through-hole versions, the surface-mount ZVY series offers sizes from 0603 to 1206, and leaded devices range in size from 5 mm to 20 mm. Operating voltages range from 3 to 125 Vdc, and the components are capable of handling up to 7.4 Joules standard. The AVY series, available in surface-mount and through-hole versions plus a wide variety of sizes, target 12V, 24V, and 42V automotive systems.
