Additions to the RWT series vertical-mount, thermally-fused wire-wound resistors include 2W and 7W elements to accommodate a broader range of commercial, consumer, and industrial applications. Existing power ratings range from 1.5W to 2W. Other features of the series include a fusing current of 2A, TCRs of 200 ppm, tolerances of 5% standard, and resistance values from 1 Ohm up to 470 Ohms. RoHS compliant, the resistors are suitable for use in clothes washers and dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and any appliance requiring a high surge withstanding with a safe failure mode.
